Hi Guys,
just bought a 2012 F4R. 8k miles and full history. Clean bike.
on the ride home the indicators stopped working. I then noticed if I switched off the bike/took key out then it would work again but only the L/H side (both front and rear)would work as normal. If you tried the R/H side then it would flash both the front and rear once but then stop - and then the L/H side would also fail to work until the ignition was turned off and back on.
so the L/H side seems ok and will work as normal if you use only that side.
As for the R/H - the bad one - that says to me the switch obviously works as it flashes it on the first time you try it , there’s voltage there and the lamps themselves are ok. What else could it be? Bad connection? Faulty flasher unit? Is this year LED from factory?
any advice appreciated
James.
