First check whether the shims that go from both sides of the sensor are placed properly (they need to touch the sensor with the "outer" edge)
Thanks mate, the conical washers are correct.
It did say on the app to tighten/loosen the shifter bolt to change sensitivity,so I will play around with that.
After 61 posts I think I can put this thread to rest.
I hope this thread helps anyone who wants to fit one of these kits.Buyer beware.

told you have faith once you go out on bike it will set its self read instructions on app how to change the settings ie if you get
false neutral or is hard to change gear it tells you what to do, and don't ride the bike old school its totally different when changing gear accelerate roll throttle off as if you were
going to pull in clutch but don't and change gear it has to be under load, i hope you mounted the module away from heat and the ecu and dont have your chain to tight. and mitchy the name is graeme.

Mine is supposed to arrive Tuesday and I'm a little nervous to install it. I'm not worried about the actual install, but getting used to not using your clutch half the time seems weird to me. Did you ever definitively figure out if it shifts down as well? How was road testing it? Is it better/worse for city driving? LOL sorry for all the questions Mitch, but seems like you'll give us a pretty good idea of what it's like.

mv raptor I noticed your sensor threshold is 90%, mine is only 20%
Do you know how to get it higher? use the app open app then swipe to left you should have all settings adjust to suit
its trial and error to get settings you want every rider is different.

Finally got to get out today and test the quickshifter.I set the cutout rpm at 4000rpm,mistake and very annoying at that revs,so stopped and re-set it at 6000rpm,much better.
Then what was happening, when I was upshifting, the motor would cut,but I was in the same gear WTF.(rider error I was thinking)
Then I made sure I used more force on upshifting and seem to work much better.
So more riding I am sure I will perfect it.
One thought while riding, you would not dare to upshift halfway through a corner at speed (not that I do) because it would upset the handling of the bike and could spit you off the road.Just a thought.
Any advice would be appreciated on perfecting this gadget :smile2:

You could increase cut-off delay, and/or cut-off times.
It require some time to setu up iQSE properly (depending on your riding habits).

And yes, I do upshift in the midle (actualy 2/3) of the turn with no problems on B-910

Mitchy,

Like Miko says it's just a matter of playing with the settings to suit. Having said that it is pretty sensitive to lever pressure and if your foot brushes it you do get the motor cut. I said in one of the earlier posts it needed a good pressure on upshift to stop false neutrals. Mines a Brutale but I'll have a look at my settings later and post them up. More riding will perfect it as you say.

Cheers

Thanks Deano,it would be appreciated.
When I upshift on the throttle the motor cuts as it should, the bike lurches but I am still in the same gear.
I then used more force on the gearlever and it did go to the next gear but not real smoothly.:frown2:

Mitchy,

First rpm: 4000
Last rpm :13000
Sensor value: 0%
Sensor thresh-hold: 30%
Cut off delay: 15ms
Cut-off times: 80ms

Cheers

Thanks Deano and Miko, looks like my cut-off delay is too high.
I have to wait until next weekend now to test and make adjustments.
Will let you know how I go.:wink2:

Power Commander

i had probs with mine but sorted now i had power commander connected to injectors first then QS
turns out its the other way round QS connected to injectors first then power commander was still getting false neutrals
at higher speeds persevered with settings and bingo works fine note every bike will have a different set up and every rider is different
but for ref heers my settings.
Raptor
What model power commander did you wind up using? And what application are you using it for?
Thanks

I emailed Healtech on the issues I had with the wiring harness and they have changed the part number on their website so nobody else gets caught out.
It is good a company actually listens and acts on feedback.:smile2:

Btw, about the HealTech company.
I recently send them a damaged sensor (pic a few post above) as warranty claim. They send me a new one, even before they received mine, that's really positivly surprised me.
