Replaced the fork seals on my 312R ('08) not that long ago and have found that they both are leaking slightly. I am replacing them again as I write this and have wondered if I put them in upside-down the first time. The manual doesn't seem to give enough detail (photographic or written) as to which is the correct way. I note that the two contact surfaces (lips) are slightly different diameters. Question is does the smaller diameter face down (when on the bike) or vise versa?
