Exhaust System Valve Actuator

I hope this information helps,

I have a Brutale 1090RR 2013, and when the bike was over 100 km long, began to show the same orange bulb on the board without explanation and without any warning on the board.

I take the bike to the dealer, and when it was scanned, the fault is in the servo motor, this device is responsible for opening and closing a valve which is installed at the end of the manifold of exhaust system (CENTER-DOWN OF THE MOTORBIKE).

We proceeded to check the wiring, and found that the engine of the motorcycle broke down one cable that goes to the valve in the exhaust system.

Additionally, we proceeded to check the servo motor, and unfortunately this also was damaged by not being able to move the 2 wires that open and close the valve in the exhaust system.

We proceeded to take out the 2 wires that were installed in the valve of the exhaust system without removing the servo motor, and failure never return.

Fortunately, the motorcycle was in warranty and the dealer proceeded to order the servo motor and the 2 wires, we replace parts, and now my motorcycle has 5000 km and the fault did not reappear.

Replacement parts are:

8000B2126: MV Agusta OEM VALVE, ACTUATOR MUFFLER (450$)

8000B4114: MV Agusta OEM CABLE, CLOSING, VALVE ACTUATOR (43$)

8000B4109: MV Agusta OEM CABLE OPENING, VALVE ACTUATOR (43$)

Again I hope this information is helpful to someone.
