Think you missed the point but thanks!
Got u now....

I am around 5.9, knee angle is tighter and the handlebars are lower and further away (panigale), so ergonomics is still not the same.

the MV will suit your commute, splitting traffic and parking much better then the diavel- but the v4 SF would be tempting!

The MV is simple to maintain, but you need a bit of kit for working on it. Lucky you having such a choice!

Welcome to the family !!!
You know we will all say get the MV.
Comparing the Diavel and the Brutale is apples to oranges.

One, a common you see them everywhere like Fiats, Ducati Diavel is a cruiser. Yes it's good but a cruiser none-the-less.

The other is a rare and exotic high performance sport bike. Superior handling, fantastic power plant ..... and, like a Ferrari, you do not see them everywhere. Unfortunately, like a Ferrari, that means dealers aren't on every corner.

If you like to do your own services you will find the MV Agusta vastly more simple to work on.

As for the Pierer Mobility Group fiasco, MV will come out of it just fine. I suspect little overall will change from the experience of the past 25 years. There may be some awesome deals on the market as PMG sells off the very small supply of new bikes they have in the warehouse.
I agree I have both a Diavel and the Brutale. I mean, the power comes on differently. It has a completely different power band. The handling on the MV is way more nimble than the Ducati. If you’re riding long distances, and depending on how tall you are, but the Ducati could be more comfortable. I’m 6 foot three. I can ride the MV for about an hour or less before I need to get off and walk around the Ducati. I can go an hour and a half not much of a difference. But I agree that they are completely different bikes. It just depends on what you want.
