Hey - nice timer you guys

getting a new bike this month after being knocked off my last one a year ago - looking at a 24 plate Diavel v4 or a Brutale 1000 RR - 22 plate - I’ve ridden ducatis for ever so was looking at a change. I live near Bristol and have no MV dealer tho — nearest is Plymouth about 2 hours away - any thoughts ? I sort of know what you are going to say - but does the recent KTM shenanigans make you nervous etc ? The MV looks great and I’ve always admired from afar ! Cheers

100% MV will get through, I’m used to Italian bikes and cars - I own an Alfa Romeo quadrifoglio so I’m versed in the non local dealership conundrum! Will report back ! Should add it will be a commute bike roughly about 30 miles a day !

Me again! Taking my Diavel v4 into my dealer next week, they don’t have a brutale 1000R but will have sport bikes - do you think a panigale v4 will be similar ergonomics to an RR? This itch wont go away 😂😂😂 (have seen a 21 plate RR at a dealer about 100 miles away)

I agree I have both a Diavel and the Brutale. I mean, the power comes on differently. It has a completely different power band. The handling on the MV is way more nimble than the Ducati. If you’re riding long distances, and depending on how tall you are, but the Ducati could be more comfortable. I’m 6 foot three. I can ride the MV for about an hour or less before I need to get off and walk around the Ducati. I can go an hour and a half not much of a difference. But I agree that they are completely different bikes. It just depends on what you want.
Perfect response thanks

same height as me - I’m negotiating a price for a brutalle at the moment
