So I have eyes on a 2021 1000 RR (with dealer 2 yr additional warranty) or a 2024 ex demo 1000 RS for a steal - but both similar price tbh and low mileage - thoughts ?

Me again! Taking my Diavel v4 into my dealer next week, they don’t have a brutale 1000R but will have sport bikes - do you think a panigale v4 will be similar ergonomics to an RR? This itch wont go away 😂😂😂 (have seen a 21 plate RR at a dealer about 100 miles away)

Ergonomics are not the same, personally I would always pick Ducati's V4 over an inline 4. But a Pani is not a Brutale so I not sure why we are having such discussion 😉

the MV will suit your commute,splitting traffic and parking much better then the diavel- but the v4 SF would be tempting!

The MV is simple to maintain, but you need a bit of kit for working on it. Lucky you having such a choice!

I agree I have both a Diavel and the Brutale. I mean, the power comes on differently. It has a completely different power band. The handling on the MV is way more nimble than the Ducati. If you’re riding long distances, and depending on how tall you are, but the Ducati could be more comfortable. I’m 6 foot three. I can ride the MV for about an hour or less before I need to get off and walk around the Ducati. I can go an hour and a half not much of a difference. But I agree that they are completely different bikes. It just depends on what you want.

You should be able to negotiate pretty hard. They don’t move as easily as a Diavel. Can I ask where you’re located? There’s one by me for sale with about 2000 miles for a pretty good price.
