@gotojoe got one from China a few years back if memory serves. I sealed it for him and the weave was full of pin holes, inside looked like a 6 year old built it. But I think it worked fine after I sealed it with metalic epoxy coating from KBS. Don't know who the selling company was. Ask Joe (i think it was his?? getting old and forgetful)

Doubt you will find a new or even used MV carbon tank.....but you never know. Good luck.

Thanks for the info, but I would prefer to have one made by a reputable company. I do plan on painting it, but I would like some of the carbon to be exposed. How difficult is the process of sealing it?

never used, but not cheap... I am sure it is the only one of these, which can be found.

Very rare and hard to find...notice the production date...1999 .!!
These were spare parts for the ORO which came equipped with a carbon tank.
Sealing is simple, just like a steel or fiberglass tank. KBS or POR metalic air catalyzed epoxy works well.

Don't know if you are interested in an aluminum tank. There is or was a company in Japan that hand makes them. I had one and hand polished it to a mirror finish. It can be painted also.
