Setup a poll. I don't know much but was asked to put this up... just to get a feeling of interest.

No.

A Superstock bike isn't really that much different from the showroom bike. And I can hardly get my F4 around the track that well as it is (bone stock).

For $1000, I'd rather spend the money on 4 or 5 track days...

I would do it for a full day, under the following conditions...

-I get to pit out of the A/C'd factory hauler...Fully stocked.
-I get their mechanic and/or/also suspension guy at my disposal
-Rachel Bilson as my personal umbrella girl/cheerleader/masseuse
-I get two personal riding coaches for the day...Skassa and Matt, please
-I get Turkey and Swiss sandwiches and all the Gatorade I want...

Where do I sign up? :naughty:

I'd do it. I'm assuming you'd fly me somewhere they accept euro's. I also get the damage waiver right? If I'm spending a grand for half a day, i'd better get to ride it like I stole it. Win it or bin it baby ;)

The day: one rider in the morning and one in the afternoon.
-Official mech with pc for personalized mapping
-covered box in the circuit
-official pieces (GiMotorsports)
-new tires (PIRELLI WSTK)
-the bike could be the ORIGINAL WSTK
this is an important survey
.......................The day could be in Italian circuit.....................
What about?

half a day doesn't make any sence. on a track you don't know, it takes a half a day to learn and get used to the track. anyway, 750 euro is too much. for this amount we rent f4's for a week (road use).

Here in Finland, when Mike started his racing he rent a bike for one race. It was 1000 €.
If you crashed the bike, you had to put hand in your own pocket...
So, to me 750 sounds reasonable..... :stickpoke

Pier,

I think it's a good idea. However, I'm not sure riding the race bike would be worth that much to me, even with the support. Personally, I can't ride my F4S (totally stock) to 100% of the bike's capacity.

However, for 500 euro, I'd be really interested if it was a totally stock MV F4R, at Monza, or Imola (for example), and tires were fitted (in new or excellent condition). As for a support mechanic, I'd be happy sharing one. This would let me ride an MV, on a cool Italian track, focus on my riding and learing the track, using a bike I'm somewhat familiar with.

I'm not going to be setting any lap records, so this is just about having fun. And for me, riding an MV on a race track (even a stock one) is HUGE fun.

Just my opinion.

Actually that doesn't sound like a bad deal. Half day with a tuner/mechanic might be really helpful to learn set-up etc...
