With the "what do you want from MV Agusta" thread I sent an email to both MV USA and MV spa. Here is the response I got.

Dear Mr. ROBP,
First of all thank you very much for your email. We are alway interested
in what our customers would like to propose to us.
About your request on our future models I can tell you that starting
from the end of 2008 till the end of 2010 we are going to present four
new models: a new Brutale, a new F4, one bike at the entry level and one
bike for 600 cc.

We hope that your curiosity is now satisfied and that you and all the
people involved will always be close to us!

Kind regards

And i wonder what an entry level MV would be?? And i am curious about what the 600 will be all about??:blah:
Oh and thanks for sending the eail, what was the content if you dont mind me asking?

Basically, I inquired to the status of the company. I also included a link to the thread.

The way I see it in the next two years we will see a new Brutale and F4 will most likely be the 1078 brute and the 312rr. Official word about the 600 is nice, so we can continue to speculate about the triple. I'd guess it will be a 600cc I4, with a 600cc brute (ala monster) also being introduced. I will keep my fingers crossed for the mito single, but I doubt it.

Based on the other post about MV being unable to pay suppliers I'm a little hesitant to believe the reality of all these new models. Perhaps they are merely plans. A new Brutale sounds interesting....the first time I've seen that. Maybe the new 1078 Brute is not the best option :stickpoke. But we could be waiting for Godot...my hunch is that new models are more than one year away:popcorn:

The timeline seems to be the next two model years. If they are willing to say they have new models coming out, I would take that as being pretty truthful since the lead time on new models is probably at least 2 yrs, but with a company as small as MV I would guess more like 3-5 yrs. So they have probably been in the works for quite a while. Financing these projects is probably the most difficult, especially in this economy, so sorting out the money aspect is a different issue. I think the bikes are there in some form or another but will they make it to market? Only time will tell.

Thanks for the info! Now I'll know that MV will finally produce something like
a 600.:yo:

But I can imagine riding a MV 600 and people will hear it before I get there
and they will think "It's just another Gixxer.":jsm:

Anyway, it's only my imagination.:ahhh:
