Hi there.
I'm new (and from the UK). This seems like a great website!

I'm finally able to get a F4 1000 - a used one. :D

Is there anything I should check when looking at used bikes?
Do they have any known problems?

Thanks in advance. :)

Fairings: Are they melted from the inside? Are they a different paint scheme than came stock? (Either a sign of an accident, or a sign of personalization) Is the paint scheme stock, but missing decals such as the MV agusta decals on the side fairings? (Also can be a sign of a crash

Rearsets: Are they stock? if not, either the owner replaced them because he just wanted to, or the old ones were mangled. Check the bottoms of the gearshift lever, and rearbrake lever as well as the rearsets (if they are worn on the bottom, either the bike was on its side, or the owner has a heck of a lean angle).

Also: Fan blades, are they melted? If you buy it, make sure the kickstand bolts are tight, so it doesn't fall on you.

Be sure to post pics, even if you didn't buy it yet, and we might be able to point something out.
