Hello all

Just received my UK Registration Certificate (V5) for my new MY19 Dragster RC. Have not got the bike yet (another story) and hats off to the DVLA; it was registered 07/03/19 and I received the document today (09/03/19). Anyway.....having checked the V5 to make sure that everything is as it should be, I noticed that the bike details are showing as follows;

Make; MV AGUSTA (so far, so good)
Type; B1 (dunno?)
Variant; 11 (dunno?)
Version; BA (again, dunno?)
Model; BRUTALE 800 DRAGSTER RR (what the F**k? Not even saying RC)

Having checked the VIN/Chassis/Frame No. of the bike, it does match that on the V5. The Dealer says' it is what it is' and it is out of their hands on what details go on the Registration Documents and they suggested that I contact the DVLA to change details, if I wanted. Having now sorted the insurance to state that it is an MV AGUSTA DRAGSTER 800 RC, instead of all the other variants they have on their systems, I am a bit reluctant to change it on the V5 or ask the insurers to insure it as a MV AGUSTA BRUTALE 800 DRAGSTER RR.

Just interested to see what other MV's are named as on the Registration Documents and whether that tallies with the insurance document description. Also do I have a valid point; if I come to sell it and the Registration Document does not tally with the actual bike, would that put potential purchasers off (I think I would not be too keen, as a prospective purchaser)? Final thing; having looked at the bike today, we (the dealer and myself) are unable to find a plaque stating number ?? of 250 (what is going on???)

On a brighter note, new bike should be with me 18/03/19.......happy days (I think!!) :surprise:

Its not unusual for there to be differences in the common name and the official names.

My F4 is type:F6, variant:30, Version :BB

However I would get the common name changed to an RC, as you say its an issue for resale and you want to be clear with the insurance.

I thought the Dragster was part of the Brutale range.
