This is a rare limited replica suit made by the best suit maker for the best rider of his time. It is the same style suit Foggy wore to win his last championship, 1999. This was a $1700 suit back ten years ago, it probably retailed for over $2000. Foggy riding his 916 helped make Ducati the profitable brand it is today. This suit celebrates that history.
I don’t know how many of these were made in 1999, but this is number 498 in a limited run of suits. It’s a Euro size 56/US 46. I’m 5’8”, 190lbs and it fit me fine. It comes with the back protector and hanger it was sold with. I’ve leather treated it a few times to keep it supple, but that seems to have slightly stained the white Michelin and Infostrada patches. This is a very nice suit for 10 years old. It would be a shame to wear for riding, but if you’re a fan of Ducati and/or Carl Fogerty, then you should add this to your collection. I have an $800 HJC suit and it pales in comparison to the quality of this suit. The tiny zippers for the removeable lining are quite impressive. I’m selling this because I’m moving out of the country this year.
