:banghead: While practicing stoppies I noticed that my tree was loose about a month ago. I ordered a yoke tool from EMOTO and have been limiting my riding much to my dismay. Anyway last week I recieved my tool and today I tightened the nut in the center of the tree under the handlebars. After the test ride it was aparent that the berring ring is loose. How do I go about tightening it and where can I find the tool. THANKS PILLAR>>>>>>>>>>>

I haven't looked at mine but I know from other bikes and it should be the same, there is nut below the top plate. You will have to loosen the 6mm bolts on both fork legs on the top triple plate and then tighten the preload nut a little underneath that (this loads the bearing), if you go ape shit then you will have shit steering!! Then make sure to tension the top nut and tighten the pinch bolts on the fork legs and get back to riding!! Hope this helps.

Usually the steering stem is attached to the lower tree. On my bike (not a Brutale) you have to loosen the lower tree clamp pinch bolts. Then tighten the preload bolt under the top tree clamp. It helps to tap the lower tree with a rubber hammer, because as you tighten the preload it pulls the lower clamp up the fork legs a little.

Thanks Yall

I figured it out I was making it harder than it was. Im used to everything I work on being difficult. The one thing about the Brute is it may need more attention than most bikes but in my experience she is easier to work on. Thank>again>>>>>>>>>>PILLAR
