At what temperature does the safety cutout work? Thats assuming my f41000 05, has one ?
My bike got up to 100° in traffic the other day,i shut it off and let it cool down was ok ,is there an auto cutout on f4's? Thanks for any information and help

Assuming its like my old 750 Brutale ( same ECU) the dash will start flashing the temperature when it gets to high. 100C is not a problem, keep going next time :)

While I couldn't find a reference to the engine cutout temperature, I do recall reading it somewhere in my literature. Keep in mind that there are two separate temperature sensors, one for the coolant at the radiator which provides the dash indication, and one on the engine block for ECU input. The two will not read the same at any given running engine condition.
