Sales like this are quite common in the UK - there's quite a business in military surplus equipment - is it not so common in the US?
I would think you could make a fair return on these by leasing to Hollywood for movies...... But transport, storage and maintenance/restoration???? Expensive toys.!!

I did a bit of driving in the Eland MK7, it's small, that Opel engine is crappy. But I would love to own one now, very much a big part of South African history.
These armor pieces are the Littlefield collection.
Donated to the Collings Foundation.
The auction vehicles are surplus to their museum and will help fund same.
i know a few fellows going to the auction to bid, I also collect WW2 military vehicles, can't afford Tanks! :)
