Bike is 2009 Brutale 989r and they are the Designcorse ones.
The bolts on the bike seem to be drilled but not tapped with a thread.
Have also looked at the sliders that just fit in the frame hole , just
Don't want the ones that look like skateboard wheels!

Also seen the ones on the forum from performance company from Germany that come with new bolts , do these bolts have to be torqued
or is it a case of yes that's tight enough that will do!

I tried the Tamburini sliders - didn't like 'em and put 'skateboard wheel' sliders on. The Tamburinis looked tacked on - even more so than regualr sliders - and didn't look like they'd do much in a tip over.

I had R&G sliders on my B910S - may not look the best, but I liked the look, and they protected the bike - dropped it when trying to push start it.

Francis, those bolts are the two most important bolts as far as your engine/frame relation goes, yes, you torque them.

But you don't have to replace them.
Tapping them (is that an english word :wtf:), is a 4 minute job !
