What do you know about these Yamaha IT 465's

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120782159660?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Any advise or guidance is greatly appreciated, but please be quick as it is finishing tonight.

Are these a no, no and a headache to own or are they bullet proof.. From the pictures shown in the Ebay advert, does anyone know how original this particle example is ?

Cheers chaps !

Alvin.. I know I've posted this in the wrong section ( SORRY !.. I don't normally do this as you know) but I just want to get some advise ASAP from the forum experts on this possible purchase.. You can completely delete this thread by tomorrow, as the sale finishes tonight (26/09/2011)..

Cheers

Cheers for the post Andrew..

Forget about the bike, lets talk about your avatar :stickpoke:)..

No serviously, cheers for the advise.. I have a price I'm prepared to pay for one of these bikes and we'll see if I'm within the ball park at the end of the auction..

Allan (proddieracer) has texted me a load of good advise about the various bits and pieces on this bike ( cheers mate :yo:) and I just have to stick to my price and if it sells above that, then Que Sera, Sera .

I'm afraid not guys..

I was ready with my bid of £2300 and watching the seconds tick away, when the bid jumped to the reserve of £2400 in the last few seconds..

Maybe it wasn't meant to be... I've found another example of this IT 465 but it is well over what I'm prepared to pay..

My heart wants a 1970 Husky CR400 Cross, but an IT465 was my second choice.. A Suzuki PE400 is also on the hit list, but not over keen on the PE's..

Life goes on as they say, and at least the wife is happy I haven't bought another bike :)

Cheers for your advise guys and a special thanks to Big Allan for his text replies..

PS: Alvin you can delete this thread if you wish or move it to other makes.. Choice is yours and sorry once again for posting it in the general section..
