It was low 50's this am with a 15-20mph wind. Chilly but clear & beautiful. Early in the week I thought I was going to lead a group ride of "Italians" but it was not to be, and I set out alone. 2 layers under the leathers with a neckband kept the body fine, but the hands were certainly chilly from start to finish. 292 ran at speed at ~155, thats how cool it was today.

Given the chill and wind, my strategy changed from country carving to sport cruising and my route changed to satisfy conditions. The crosswinds made cornering unpredicatble from the outset and so recognized... the strategy changed.

Country 2 lanes through the chester and lancaster countrysides, past the amish buggies going to church and farmlands made for a relaxing, headclearing ride. Stopped for breakfast and then made it to Ephrata for large mc meet and greet.

The tam as usual was a looker as many of the bikes are, and I introduced myself to Chris a Senna owner with 400 smiles on his machine. Stayed less than 1 hour and hit the countryside again to finish a 127 mile loop without incident. 292 is running just fine, possibly a bit rich, as 2 shots were heard exiting the rear :moon: :bandit: .

Given all that time to think, maybe I will get a Brembo mastercylinder; what else can I do and you know we ALL gotta keep do something.

Here some pics:
