My throttle wouldn`t close on its own today and after getting home found that the culprit was the bar-end weight. It appears that the expanding rubber mount wants to work its way inboard towards the wider section of handlebar and as a result ends up against the throttle grip. Easy fix by loosening weight bolt and sliding outwards, But something to watch out for. It is a 2010 1078RR.
Yep, happened to me last week. I went ahead and rode it to work and back with it hanging up. Was kinda cool having cruise control. I fixed it as soon as I got home though.
