I'm sure this has been asked before but I need to know where I can have my side panel painted in the US or replace it. I have the paint codes (which I got off of this site, thank you) but everywhere I've called tells me they cannot match those paint codes here in the US. I bought my SPR with a scratch on the side knowing it might be hard to fix it but now it seems like carbon panels are my only option and I don't really want to do that. Also need help with replacing the decals once painted. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I bought the color match silver from colorite. I painted the bottom portion of the belly pan, its close, but the aresol can and clear coat can only get you so close. Its not noticeable to unless you get down and stare, but I'm anal

Trying to find a match for the SPR paint is impossible. Even if you bring them the panel and have them mix the paint for you or your painter, it is not going to be exact.

Your best bet is to bite the bullet, buy a new panel from the dealer, and sell the one with a scratch to someone looking for a track spare.

Ok so I talked to a dealer out here who told me it comes unpainted... I must be getting the run around. A dealer is able to order the SPR side panel painted with decals? If so do you know about how much?

The dealer you talked to is wrong. The panel comes painted with the decals on it. At least it did 6 months ago. I know, because I ordered one from Fast by Ferracci.

The insurance company paid for it but if I remember correctly it was around $600.

You're looking at $694.95 for a left or right SPR sidepanel (painted, with stickers) from FBF -- not including shipping.

Because matching matte finishes is a pita!
Especially exotic ones.

I did just that ( I have hired a specialist to match and mix some paint for SPR ) He came up with charcoal metalic paint ( according to him its not black ) and SPR does have a clear coat over the charcoal metalic paint . I know , It does not look like it when you see the decals but it is clearcoated. Cost me $ 350.00 per quart of paint + clear coat .

Thanks guys these are really helping me a lot with deciding what I'm going to do... The best option seems to be to order one from FBF.

I have an exotic car body shop here in the Atlanta area that could fix it....they make their own paint, color codes are useless.....but it will probably cost as much as a new part by the time they finish...plus you will need to buy decals (those can be pricey, too) and you live a long way away....


So I suggest you take your panel to the body shop that your local Ferrari, Lambo, Lotus, Porsche etc dealers recommend and see what they say
