i purchase some spark plug wires and didnt like the way they did not fully cover the spark plug socket.
so i looked at the old wires and thought, "hmm maybe i can make that old boot fit over it"
in the pictures below you will find i did just that. i know for a lot of you its now a wow factor
but i like for things to stay clean and also look clean.
Pic 1 i cut the boot enough to visually see the wire.
Pic 2 i pull the long section from the elbow section to expose the wire
Pic 3 i cut the wire(yes i know i could of just cut right throught everything in the first step) but no rush
Pic 4 i pull the elbow section out
Pic 5 i cut a section on the elbow enough to allow the bigger wire in
Pic 6 after installing all the wires in place, install the elbow right on top and push it into place.

Nice job!

...now did you figure out how to get the PLUGS out?:naughty:

yup, i grinded down the sprak plug socket we had i made it very very thin. and it was still sticking a lil bit. but got it done.

plugs out????

Chuck & Carlos;
you have to cut the projecting gasket away, just like on BMWs:wtf:

Thanks Noel! What does the seating surface look like? I have not had my valve cover off...yet. Gido does that work for me.
