I saw the hugger thread posted by Kamran, and the Emoto item looks good. I was wondering though, if there are any other huggers available, preferably from a supplier located in the USA? I'm assuming I can order from Emoto, but I'd like to know if there are other options. Thanks.

i believe there are a couple of places but www.motowheels.com is the frist place that pops into my head. i would check with that Charlotte dealership that the group buy is happening through, they can probably get MV Corse stuff at a decent price. Good luck :koolaid:

Just received and installed Emoto's on my Brute.
It is great quality, nice mv logo under the resin coat looks fantastic.
Fit was a bit fiddly as it was sitting on the tyre at first, with a bit of persistance though I got it to sit nicely.
Recommended!!

Thanks to everyone for the tips and links. I ended up ordering from eMoto after reading the group buy thread. They have a CF hugger similar to the factory Corse unit for under $220 including shipping. Should help keep the crud from accumulating in front of the tire.

That's a very good question. I can try to get a pic of that side.

but let's just say it is wrapped up in the 'service fee' when I had it done! :ahhh:

Searching th eother threads on huggers, it looks like peple have used "well nuts" to connect the hugger to the swinging arm.. i know on the F4/1000 there are plastic plugs in 2-3 holes already ..

I received mine today as the one on the picture but I am not sure how to connect to the swingarm on my BrutaleR. I see plastic plugs but not sure if i can use them to this purpose or if these plugs are just there to prevent dust to get into the holes.
If anyone can help on these, please.
The holes on the carbon part are smaller than the plastic plugs but is easy to make bigger holes if that is the case, I just dont want to mess around without consulting you guys first.
So the question is: HOW DO YOU CONNECT THE HUGGER TO THE SWINGARM ON THE BRUTALE R?

thanks in advance.

Thanks for the imput but the part didnt come with any wellnut or screw. Either they forgot them or i must use the plastic plugs. I will ask the suplier.
I must say this parts have a perfect finish and looking. MVCorse fit and finish 100%.
Isnt the first hugger I buy from them and the one I have on my F4 came with wellnut and screws but I must refer that the F4 didnt have the swingarm holes has is a 2005 model, and I mentioned that when I bought.
