So the dollar has finally kicked that Euro back to reason. Cool, cause that's where all the things we love come from BUT.. I am working off shore right now and haven't had a chance to check out prices. Have those shiesty Europeans began raising prices yet? Do we finally get a deal on exchange? Will import beer be cheaper. Nix that last part.

I haven't noticed any price rises yet.....IMHO the majority of them would be crazy to raise prices and scare of business that may be scarce during these approaching uncertain times.

I noticed Vesuvio part website has a few items that are coded MTVUSA such as the Scotts steering Damper. Now Im purly guessing here but I reckon MTVUSA means they get the part from Motovation USA and add a percentage on top.

OR maybe the two companies are affiliated, or perhaps its just coincidence. Either way, you are still better off shoping around. I live in australia and i find the USA has the cheapest parts at the moment. It used to be the UK due to the weak pound, but for some reason the US has become really competitive. much more so then buying from Europe for us aussies in most cases.

Made in the USA is not quite as good as Made in Italy - slightly less lacking in design, but you must admit its still pretty good stuff (referring to things such as rear-sets and brake handles etc... made by specialist US companies). MUCH better then asian stuff, and probably equal to most european stuff.

From the horse mouth...
at the very beginning we used to get the Scotts Damper from MotoVationUSA. Now we source it directly but simply didn't change the code. Motovation is a great company to buy from by the way.

Regarding the US$/€ ratio...we have indeed adjusted the rate but to your advantage !!!
Basically, you can now get more stuff for less US$...and don't forget you buy tax free.

So YES! NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY FROM US :-D

Thanks for Clarifying, I was by no means saying Motovation are better then you guys, - I highly rate both websites and recommend both. its purely the exchange rate makes it better for me at the moment. I have Aussie dollars, and I'm sure it depends where you are from obviously. - and even then i always visit your website too just to confirm, as some things you have are indeed cheaper.

Well, Thank You for Calling me Shiesty, my friend... :jerkoff:
Just in case You don't know, Dollar haven't kicked anything to the reason, What's happened is because on the stock market they are all afraid that Euro area will get a "greek economy"....
Basically, that won't happen and I think that euro will be as strong as before vs dollar, even if I do not like it.
Actually, in the US, You have been only lucky to get the impossible rate that is been untile now. Here in Europe production is to a very low level and that's because is not worth to buy european goods worldwide because the rate, unless we sell in USD, which is not good for us because is not good money for cost of production....
I give You an example: a Brutale 1078 last year in Italy was 18700 euro. and in the US was around 18k USD+taxes...
In Florida that means 5500 euro less if You have Euro quoted 1.45 against dollar!!!!
:wtf: now You want our beatiful bikes or things chaeper?????
Go and buy a Buell!!! :stickpoke
(Sorry, they do not do Buells anymore and the last have been thrown in the garbage can)

No probs at all. Like i said, MotovationUSA are partners and buddies of ours.
Regarding the exchange rate, you're right. Now is the right time to buy from Europe. Also, it doesn't look like the € will be hiking back up anytime soon...again, good for you guys.
