There was never a 748 Senna, the only Ducati Senna was a 916...just because a bike is gray (and unlike all Sennas flat grey) with red wheels it does not make it a Senna...

But if it WAS a senna....

There is one here that is unregistered (new) for 2million yen (9000 GBP or so?)

http://www.rakuten.co.jp/motocorse/1110420/1524638/

That is in 1995..

Year model 2000 I have no idea, the black with red wheel 748 was made in 2002 I believe, but it was just an S model 748. It was not a senna either...

They made a 2002 748s that everyone calls a Senna. It,s one of my favorites, i have a picture of it on my fridge! :)

You can expect to pay between $8,000 & $10,000 for a good to very good example.

I like that scheme as well, unfortunately I've never seen one up close :( .

It's pretty cool. It's a matte finish, maybe a little rougher to the touch then say an SPR or Nero.

It looks really good!:yo:

Most of the 748 and 998/ 996 ducatis I have seen have been crash rebuilds, and the ones that aren't were overpriced

Thanks for the picture, and indeed, this is the ONLY Senna and the ONLY year that Ducati made a Senna...

I have even heard some refer to the same color Monster as a Senna...silly if you ask me...
In fact, Ducati made the 916 Senna I in 1995 (grey), the Senna II in 1996 (silver) and the Senna III in 1997/98 (black). All with red wheels. Basically the standard 916 engine in the 916SP chassis.

The S4 monster was also made in a Senna variant (grey).

Local dealer has one for sale for $35,000.

They've had it for a while, don't really want to sell it, hence the price.

Looks great in their shop though :mouthwate

35000? wow. That sounds like a lot. To be honest I really don't know much about this bike. But the one down the street at ~20,000 bucks is a good deal? (uh oh)

It is a nice bike.

The design is looking a little OLD to me these days.........I guess CLASSIC would be a better word.
