As I was replacing the low beam bulb on my 910R this morning, I noticed a couple of screws missing on the instrument cluster protector. Can anyone help with sourcing them?

Mick.. they are the same as the ones in a couple of other areas on the bike as shown in the photos.
They are 18.5 mm thread length M4 (4mm) with a thread pitch of 0.7
And they have a 2.5mm hex recesses for your 'allen key'
I lost mine and replaced them with similar 'dome' head replacements not noticeable as they disappear into those 'recesses' in that instrument shroud.
hope that helps...cheers
Brian.:)

Yeah Noel...however the dome head ones I replaced mine (illustrated) with (as I lost the originals) Measure 17.5mm thread length and they work fine.
They go through the instrument shroud as shown and thread in to 'well nuts' in the pressed aluminium instrument bracket. You can see that with the replacements I fitted ...when inserted into those well nuts where they 'begin to thread' there is only around 4-5mm thread left to the underside of the screws heads (for the instrument shroud) So the OEM ones of 18.5mm thread length would be correct. In fact you could maybe get away with a 'little' longer but not 'much' shorter. Hope this helps.
As Noel says Mick, 'Tighten them up'.....I'll take that advice too:laughing:
Happy Christmas Mate:)
Brian.

Noel, or Christmas, or the forum Santa Claus...

Murky buckets as they say in French.
Thank you very much.
Will let you know when it arrives. I should be back home around the 5th.

Cheerio and all the very best for the coming year! Apparently, you deserve it!

Thank you Noel!

The parcel arrived today. Many thanks for your help Noel. Now, pardon my ignorance, but what are the rubber O-rings for? Would you use a small one for each replacement screw? I guess I may check other screws around the bike and use some of the small o-rings to secure them? And what are the large ones; for the headlight? Cheers mate and all the very best to you.

ringy things?

Michel;
you're very welcome :f4:
the big O-rings are for the fuel pump plate.....
$11.47 each at your friendly dealer:naughty:
http://store.proitalia.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=800090939
the little ones are for the fuel line quick disconnects

a grateful customer brought me several bags of them so i just send them out:yo:

the big ones cost $0.30 from McMaster-Carr the industrial supply house
the little ones cost $0.05
the little ones i send out are 1 size down from the OEM ones, so they won't get cut so easily......and they work:naughty:
