Looks pretty decent this, bought it used from EB.

Sounds good and 5/10 minute job swapping it over, weight saving is substantial !... used my leftover 3M Ventureshield for the belly pan halves...

Support bar or not. ?...

Can't see this being supplied new with no replacement for the fixings on the bottom of the muffler as per image.


Now the belly pan halves secure with both side and one front mounting screw only, leaving the rearmost unsecured.. can easily enough knock up a piece of Stainless bar s'pose.. really don't want to leave this part unsecured...

Nice mate. Good to know on the belly pan mounts, I also need to consider when I change the slip on. Still waiting on my headers from Italy....seem stuck in never never land.

For the F3 RC models, a small plate to secure the belly pan with 2 screws is included in the SC-kit. Should be easy enough to create your own:

Cheers guys, thats exactly what I needed to know. I'll ask the guy I bought the can from, see if he has it kicking about. I suspected a support bar of sorts would be included.

local engineering firm cutting me a 125 mil x 26 mil x 3 mil Stainless Plate.

Not sure where to drill the centres, I'll pick it up tomorrow and post up when I fit it, will probably form two elliptical holes which will give me some latitude when installing.

The belly pan rear is quite flexible, so it should not matter a lot how precise the holes are imo. If I remember, I can measure the plate on mine tomorrow.

Sorted, I had this stainless buffed finished bar cut, drilled the holes out and popped Two used stretch Alu bolts from the timing cover off my HP4 (I knew they'd come in handy for a non critical component).. Stainless washers and stainless Nyloc nuts.

Doesn't look brilliant but does the job perfectly.
