As in mine broke and you can only by them in packs of 10. Mine made it 8 years before breaking and I am 33 so I figured I could probably part with a few and still have spares to last the rest of my life.

Its the little caps that are attacked by a rubber band that keep the plastic (or metal if you upgraded like I did) pins that hold the seat on the hinge in place. Part # 800090906 if you're nasty (Ill send two to the first person who gets that reference).

Domestic USA just PM me an address, international postage probably isn't really worth it.

Ryan, did Noel steal them all? Would like 1 or 2 for my spares if not. Would give us an excuse to meet up somewhere in Atlanta as well.

Did you get them through the MV parts system, or are they available generally?

I would gladly buy a pack, even if it means getting ten!

Nobody made the reference yet, at least not obviously. Still sending one each until someone gets it (not being greedy, just trying to share the love since these things are easy to break, I could do a round 2 if I end up with leftovers).

Noel, Ed and Roadrunner, MV2Envy are each locked in (If you're not in a rush Ed don't worry I'll hold on until you can come in from rural GA :p). Noel, I'll get yours in the mail once I devise an envelope that guarantees that your mail man/woman looks at you funny from here on out. Other two guys PM me addresses. The only cost is they might be shipping from your local NAMBLA chapter or usedlovetoys.com (its a tradition from my racing days I MUST uphold).

Almeriman, they are in the MV system as that part number (just talking about the rubber caps that hold the pins in). Think it was like $12 USD for the 10 pack, totally worth it to not have my OCD flare up every time I lift the saddle.

Well, getting to the nasty, in the 'hood that means that the name given (in this case, Part #800090906) is what you beg for when they got you down on the floor and ready to be done by the :naughty: in skin-tight leather (i.e., when you're screwed and in a pinch, because the damn part broke, and on the bottom side and need to be nice to someone doing you a favor by supplying the part!). Or, something like that.....

Not sure where Gitano is going with it, not there yet. I wonder if its an age thing (Im admittedly one of the younger members here).

Roadrunner you're locked in. I think I have 3 left. The question is, do they go to 3 members or two? (dun, dun, duuuunnnn)

Ok, let me take another stab at it as I may have delved too deeply into the origin of the phrase.

The "if you're nasty" phrase stems from Janet Jackson's song "Nasty" where she refers to abusive guys as being nasty. If you're "nasty", you man-handle your woman. So, getting back to topic, in this case if your roll up your sleeves and wrench your own bike (i.e., man-handle your "woman"), you're being nasty and need the details for this repair (i.e., Part #800090906).

Is this getting closer?

You're too nasty, Ryan :jsm:
