I just ordered one. Hoping that it does indeed work on First Gen F4 and Brutale. Have an inquiry in to FBF for clarification.
12/01/22 Edit: Received confirmation from FBF that Ride Height Tool # F99017 will work on first Gen F4 and Brutale.

I'd love to see a comparison...and understand how the "universal" tool compensates for the chassis differences from First to Second generation.

If you are using a Pit Bull Stand, it is the correct dimension for measurement.

Ride Height Adjustment

Ok...first toy...Ride Height tool al'a Noel the Knurl.

I had the dealer set my ride height purposly low and I am changing that. I am actually going to go 3mm higher than the stock setting of 225 mm for MY '08 312R. So, I'll shoot for 227-228 mm. A one man show too, so don't be afraid to try this at home:

First, prove diameter of PitBull stand and Factory stand are the same:
