Reversed polarity on battery

I don't know if they carried that over but it's easy to check. The diode is accross 2 wires on the connector of the main power relay. It's the one with the main fuses. If it has the diode, and if you're lucky, that and the fuse is all that needs fixing.
I'm sure someone with F3 knowledge will be along shortly.

Update, I found on the right side a blown 30 Amp fuse, the uppermost one of the two. Smaller fuse box has all intact.

The second 30 amp fuse is the spare. Replace the blown fuse after connecting the battery the right way round and you may be good.

Gonna make a run to the auto parts store, I hope you're right. Bike has been down too long and I suck at electrical.

Dash now gets power, gonna Finnish re assembly and see if it starts. Thank you!

Tip: use a thin paint marker to clearly make (+) (-) matching cables to connector. (Relying on black and red only opens it up to simple mistakes.) This visual aid should help you with installation no matter how distracted, confused or drunk you maybe or become. Shit happens is the old expression. lol
