I've just searched the UK government's recall directory (http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls/default.asp) and it only seems to list only one for the F4:

"There is a possibility that the oil filter may loosen. If ignored, oil may leak onto the rear wheel.
Recall affected machines to check that latest filter is fitted with modified seal."

But I see from trawling the posts here that folks talk about recalls to fit a second radiator, replace the brakes, fit drainage holes in wiring, and something about camshaft bolts. Does anyone know if any of these other problems were official recalls in the UK also, or if the importers did them as any kind of goodwill gesture?

Thanks,

Si

The UK Gov database is wrong. We have official letters from 3x, the importer dating back to 2000 with a series of recalls that were issued over the years.

Including replacement brake calipers...

(not sure about the radiator, will have to confirm).. please note this is UK info.

If you contact 3x with your chassis number or registration number, they should confirm the recalls that have been carried out on your bike and any outstanding recalls.
(providing your bike is a UK bike and not an import.
