Hi guys, is there any way to stiffen the rear F4 shock, there is an air valve so can I pump it up?
It's this shock, I'm doing up a classic Kawasai triple and it's a little soft

This is only a 400 bud, it doesn't have the mental power of the 750's.
I tried winding the spring down with the allen key thing but it only moved like 5mm! is that all it moves?
Travel is the problem here and only having 6mm of rebound adjustment, I need a shock with a fully threaded body so I can wind it down to suit the project, I'm bidding on an RSV 1000 Ohlins now so hopping to win it.Cabbie
Hyperpro makes a spring or two for the MV shock (along with others I'm sure) that will stiffen things up for you. I suggest you look at getting the right spring rate for your project, as the bases for the stock one is surely different then what your hopping to do with it now. This of course is all assuming you have the correct travel to begin with.

Yes mate I found out about that.Hold on there Cabbie,That is no air valve, most shocks are charged with nitrogen gas, not air.
