Not having to drill the swing arm would be a bonus.
The swingarm is much thinner than a layman like me would expect it to be. Not really a huge deal as most swingarms were already drilled from the factory anyway.

Am just about to do the same on my B4, so this saved me asking the question! However, I do have one more to ask, that is, does the hugger locate accurately when holding it in place to mark the holes to be drilled? Just don't want a wonky hugger!!
Easier if you have someone to hold it while you mark.

There actually should be three dimples where the hugger well nuts mount.

finally a 10mm one. Ideally it should have been a 9.4mm hole so the well nuts were snug to fit.
The Well nuts are made to Imperial dimensions, so the outer diameter will more than likely be 3/8" nominal, which is about 9.5mm. So a 3/8" drill bit would be ideally suited. Although your method is perfectly if that size isn't available.

Yes it does....pretty straightforward. Just measure twice, drill once.
I see if I can find the instruction sheet and post it up.....may take a while.
