I forgot the salad dressing......

so I go to the market...... get in the line with the cute blonde checker I flirt with.....

next to me in the Quick Check line is a tall woman with white hair......she looks at me and says "I see all geared up all the time......" looking at my Nylon shorts, MV jacket and M/C boots
'It keeps a lid on what I do" she smiles

I go out and wait for her......

"Mary?"
"yes"
"Noel?
"Yes"

I don't think I've seen her since '75 maybe '69.....talked to her on the phone though, last time maybe 10-12 years ago........

Mary, you ask????

yes, Mary McGee the toughest desert racer ever...... Travis Pastrana tried to race the Baja by himself......and failed

Mary did it by herself and beat 17, 2 man teams......if it had wheels she raced it

that's why Mary is in the FIM Hall of Fame.....even Kenny Roberts didn't make that

we joked about the old days and the bar she and her ex owned the wildest place I've ever seen and I worked there:naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty:

told her about getting a message from Maritza that I haven't seen since '79 (another thread) ......she loved it......she said "old race people don't forget" so true

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVIPWuUlLZg

She's 77 and still racing Vintage MX.....shattered a femur and doing therapy.....she'll be back ......I know Mary....nothing will stop her:naughty:

She was, and is still a badass. She would probably smoke me on a dirt bike, and she's pushing 80.

A female motorcycle superstar to say the least.

I looked her up last year when Noel mentioned her in a previous thread.

You have to have a lot of respect for this lady

I almost forgot the Skipper.......Skip Van Leeuwen.......

got BALLS, NEVER SAY DIE??????

http://www.arielmotorcycles.com/skip2.jpg

look whats in his right hand .......the throttle cable.... its ripped out of the throttle.......and he won the race:naughty::naughty:

go to Ascot and race Skip, he WILL beat your ass......listen to the names of the National Champions he beat......and he started LAST

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmLWnd7WfQY

I helped restore that bike.....

at Ascot, a 5/8 mile track.......absolutely the last person you want behind you going into turn 1 is Skip:naughty::naughty::naughty:

because he's going to use YOU to turn, then drag the engine cases to slow down.....because Skipper never backed out of the throttle:naughty::naughty:

the Skipper is cool.......
http://www.vleonline.com/Media/SKIP/FlashGallery/IMAGES/img9.jpg

at the last race at Ascot, I went with Robby Berg, Skipper's Mechanic and Rusalka the Fabergé model, we smuggled in a 1/2 gallon of Cuervo :naughty::naughty::naughty: we were in turn 1 on the bottom row.....you know wear a hat, glasses and dark colored clothing.......because you're going to get dirty.....

a voice shouts out from the double decker party bus at the top of the turn......its Doug Nicol......the speedway racer

"Hey Knurl, what the fuck is she doing with you????"

challenge Rusalka?????

she says "turn around and stand up on the bleacher"

she grabs me by the crotch, flips Doug the finger and then jumps up and wraps her legs around me and gives me a serous kiss......still flipping Doug the finger......

she says to Robby.......please don't let us fall:naughty::naughty::naughty:

round of applause from turn 1 fans.....:drummer:.....

Doug shut up :)

thankfully Robby was driving.......

sadly last Saturday was the 3rd anniversary of my Friend Rusalka's passing.....I miss her so much.....what a beautiful heart/friend
