Anybody ever serviced a throttle body?
(B4 750 2003)

When doing some work on my bike this weekend i noticed that there is radial play in throttle body shaft of the body in front of cyl#3. I could see the blade in the closed throttle move around when i re-attached the throttle cables.

I would like to source some maintenance parts so i can service the tb's this fall/winter, i checked some websites but i can't find any seal and bearing kits anywhere.
Does anybody know who the manufacturer of these throttle bodies is?

Picture is just for illustrating the play, not the actual throttle body.

I don't think service parts are sold for throttle bodies. I know you can't buy parts for Japanese carb and throttle body butterfly shafts either.

Too many possible liability concerns I suppose. The screws holding the butterfly plates are staked to prevent removal.

You would have to make your own or get a new (used) throttle body....

Hmmmm...I wonder how prevalent this might be.

A carburettor specialist may be to make and fit a new bush to the throttle body but if a good secondhand set is available that would be an easier/probably cheaper option.
