Replace your shift linkage rod with the one supplied, strain gauge to the top.
Find plug for quickshift wire in harness directly above. Select quickshift-on from your dash menu and you should be good to go.
Fitted and tested yesterday to my 13 675. Now a 675 EAS. Plugged in and it works well. Not be greatest QS I've every used (the track bikes I rode last year had the HM Plus) but decent enough. Still need to get used to not rolling off the gas come change up time.
Yeah I rode a 15 F4 with QS and it felt clunky because as you say it's hard to get used to not rolling off when shifting. Sure it works better when used correctly.
Mine was a little notchy from 1st to 2nd when new. Now its fine, faster you go the better it works.
