I got a chance to buy a 910 that was used as a store demo with about 600 miles on it. They have it priced at 14,500 and said that they could "Do something" since it was a Demo. What do you guy's think would be a realistic price for a Demo bike. Not that I'm trying to nickle and dime the sale's guy, the bike is worth the MSRP demo or not but free money is free money. Thanks for any advice.

Ferraci had two 06's when I bought my R and they were offering them at 1k off msrp. So if new is 13,500 I would expect in the 12's for a demo.

Yeah , I saw that to but they are so far away and the shipping would off set the difference. I see your point and that is a very good deal. Thanks for the Idea and you post. If they go for it, I'll have you to thank.

I'd start the negotiaios at about 11.5K. You will have more flexability from that price point to paying no more then 12.5-12.8 out the door including tax and lic. You also have the ability to ask to see their invoice showing the cost price they paid for the one bike. Remember that your negotiations and the price you can agree upon should include the shipping and prep costs of the bike. I really think you can walk out of there paying in total, no more then 12.5-12.8k. Especially if it's a demo bike. Because the bike by law is no longer a new bike, but is considered to be a used one.
Good luck and Let us know how it goes. And welcome to the forum. :yo:

I wouldn't even bother with the Demo. I just picked up my Brand new 910 which was air shipped to the dealer (didn't have red in stock) for $12,500 + Tax, Inc., and docs. We're close to winter right now and the dealers know that and need to move some product to get them through to spring.

The thing that get's me is that 2004 and 2005 750's get $9000-$10,000 on Ebay.

Maybe this is a dumb question but how hard are demo bikes ridden? I mean, I've demo'ed a 750 Brutale and a 1000 F4 but I was pretty conservative this them. But do most people beat them like rental cars?
