Hello,
does anybody know the actual difference between B3 piston and TV piston? I've bought spare engine for my B3, but it's from TVL800, didn't notice that pistons have different part nr. (Everything else has the same part nr on both engines. I'm a little bit concerned due to 11k redline of TV vs 13k of B3.)
Many thanks,
f.

If the cylinder head is the same part number then I would suspect maybe lower compression ratio (piston crown shape).
Perhaps ask a dealer or even MV directly?

Different cams and different pistons. Gearbox is also different, shift drum turns the other way around. This messes up the gear index and reverse shift pattern.
