Well i collected her today. Iv already bough t a myriad of carbon bits and a polishing kit so its a weekend in the garage and wife dodging for sure :)

The dealer i got her from have replaced the plugs and balanced the injectors but she still stalls when revving on returning to tick over from time to time or going down the gears when approaching a junction or lights etc. Feels like she cuts out just before she should tick over

Has anyone else experienced this??? im due to change oil + filter next weekend but know this won't be the issue... she's done 6.7k miles and is due for a valve check, could this be it??

Im getting a valve check and power commander fitted in a month or so, this will undoubtedly cure it but wondered if there's something i might be overlooking????

Also ran the tester on the battery to check rectifier and its running 14.3V > 15.V (no more then 15v though) is this too high or normal on an F4???

Whats an RG3 ???? i presume a chip refers to re-mapping??

RG3s are the "official" MV race slip on cans. Look like originals, made like originals just not so baffled. Need installing with race Eprom (chip) to alter fuelling for the 750 -this may come with the cans. Probably the best value mod you can make apart from suspension work.

Not sure if it hasn't already had some exhaust mods done as its LOUD but all the better for it. The ends have defen been polished. Does it have anything else stamped on them to signify the RG3's?? They have MV stamped on them and look like they are made by Arrow- id really like some uber sexy titanium's but can't run to that so will look at other alternatives soon

Look like standard cans but polished - may well have had their internal baffles removed for more noise (i.e Casoli mod). RG3s are marked differently. Best check the EPROM to see if its been changed as any changes to the cans will potentially mess up the standard set up.

Thanks and will do when it gets its power commander fitted- thats will iron out any problems anyway :)
