So guys, was out on Brute today for ~160 miles, 730-1130am.
Beautiful weather, great country roads.

My partner did have a lower speed low side at the end of the am when a young girl pulled out on him, after I passed her deep in the countryside. Scrapes on his leathers at elbow and speed triple L side, rideable, repairable. Also, I had a near miss when at speed some lady toyed with the idea of pulling out from side road across my lane. I slowed, she relented...bitch!

Otherwise, I am getting comfortable riding naked on the brutale. NO neck discomfort.
Having just gotten bike back from FBF with some mods, here are further observations:

1090 has great power, and pulls in every gear with associated grins.

I love Dyno jet quick shifter and it works flawlessly thru PCV. FUN :yo: FBF did a GREAT job! Not a single hiccup.

Motivation bar ends ELIMINATE finger numbness!!!

Even on a dry day, the bike gets dirty and needs a good cleaning.

Even work horses admire the Brute's horses:naughty:

BE SAFE OUT THERE!

Peter

Another Peter with a Brute in the Philly area? Finally i'm not alone! :D

I've been considering talking to FBF about the same chip, I tend to head over there on lunch breaks to slobber over the new bikes. Finally got to play around on the moto guzzi california custom, but that's not going to be in my range any time soon lol

I ride Amish territory ALL of the time. A large swath of SW & cental-east Pa & down into northern MD. I carve around the horseshit commonly. I am out there occasionally weekday evenings and often early sat/sundays. It is common to share the roads Sunday am with horsedrawn rigs and buggies as the Amish head to and from church.
I love being on an MV carving these country bends & sweepers.
Looking forward to this weekend off call!

I'm bringing my MV up to Pennsylvania on a trailer next weekend to go for a ride with my Father and Uncle (both have Harleys). Not sure where we are riding yet but I imagine we will head to southern PA for a day.
