Hi

My F3 is going in to have the tank resprayed due to a jacket zipper incident and while it is in I'm have the entire bike clear coated.

Once this is complete I was thinking about applying the paint protection available through GP Racing, I have also purchased a tank protector

Has anyone purchased/applied this protection and if so how does it look?

I have no doubt that it will be great quality and protect the paint but I'm concerned about how it will look :jerkoff:

I have clear protection on my f4 and you wouldn't notice it was there unless you polish the bike and you get those white lines, it is really good if you do go ahead and buy some make sure that it is panel specific.

Re paint protection

I've used similar pre cut for all panels small bits were easy to do but larger panels were bloody hard to get bubbles or water out as you have to use water and washing up liquid to wet the panel to be covered then apply the mixture to the sheet and your hands so you don't get white finger print marks on the underside then apply and squeegee all the water and air out while applying the mixture so you don't Mark it as it dries out bloody hard to do I would leave it to a specialist to do if you want it to look mint hope I've been of some help Mark
