Just returned from another trip of 5 days and 2470km. Had the beast for 7 months and booked in for 18k service tomorrow. What can you say it is a truly awesome machine. The only thing I would like extra on it as a standard feature is a gear indicator light. Sure its uncomfortable for a 500+ km day and is thirsty on the gas the licence plate is covered in carbon , but I'm happy with that it's all worth it when the twisties appear. Have mounted a video camera on the fuel cap surround and it works well only vibration is from the road surface. I find it hard to control the speed at times on the straights when you pull out to pass traffic, I now know what Vigara would be like. Only disappointment here in New Zealand is experienced service technicians don't exist. Most of the receipts I have when serviced are for checking/inspect they don't adjust much, don't think they know what to do. Don't notice the original problems like throttle response while cornering anymore still has the occasional cut out. Still have a rough gear change going to second sometimes but the gearbox is more like an instrument and the faster you use it the better it feels. My only advice is get out there and use it. Don't buy it to sell with low km's. The pictures are of the camera mount and one of my favourite roads . Still trying to work out how to download vids without reading instructions.
