This was the state of my '01 750 two weeks ago:
Tire Fuel tank Wheel Automotive fuel system Automotive lighting

Take note of the high-tech bike stand!

But my winter overhaul, 22 years in making, is done, and she is running (mostly) great! Just needs some throttle body tuning to even out the idle. Here's the list of what I did this winter:
  • Replaced original coolant hoses with Samco silicone hoses
  • Replaced hub with a Mitchy
  • New rear brake pads
  • Clutch and brake fluids replacement
  • Coolant flush and replacement
  • Tear down/rebuild left side switchgear
  • Replaced air filter
  • Fuel filter replacement
  • Replaced cush pads
  • Replaced fuel fittings (I had replaced them with metal fittings back in 2003, but the o-ring on one had disintegrated, so just replaced all the fittings)

@TheSlacker perfect... you could also turn your rotors into full floaters not the semi as they are. BDS has the buttons. Drill out the current ones and replace. Your stand rocks! Did the same but a different wooden design, more like the floor Abba using the rear sets.

Didnt think i'd own another MV, and decided to buy a new SV a few weeks back. I have an NC30 and an RS125 in the stable too

I just made my first post in a while yesterday. I sold my F4 and Brutale, but just bought a Rapido scooter yesterday, lol. I know my signature shows 2005, but I joined back in 2000 when I got my 750 Strada. It was the first one in Florida at the time.

Now that is interesting.
I purchased an F4 750 Strada from Florida. It is a very early chassis number. It is my first MV. Still have it
I wonder if this could possibly have been yours?

I’m still around. Haven’t turn a wheel in over a year for sure, and even for the year before that it was only on the track. Life and career really put a damper on the riding, and it’s gotten terrifying on the roads out here in the past few years as well.
