Hi, my 2010 Brutale 1090R has developed an oil "weep" from a ~3-4mm hole on the side of the crankcase. There is one on each side of the crankcase and it only weeps after a ride. I've attached a pic, any ideas what this is or what purpose it serves?

That's the main oil galley. You can remove the plug, clean it up and reinstall with sealant on the threads.

Oops, on second look it appears that is a freeze plug type, not screw in. To replace a "freeze plug" you must drill a hole in the center, thread in a screw type slide hammer and yank it out, then press in the new one......are they even avaliable?

I think you are correct about it being a non-threaded plug of some kind. I don't see it in the parts manual, guess I'll have to see what dealer says. Thanks for the replies.
