The launch was held last night with a pretty good turnout. On display were two F4 312 (one being JSM's with the number plate 'MV 312'). Also on the floor was a Tamborini which, as one can imagine, is not that common to see in the flesh.

There was a raffle with prizes of a magnum of wine and some MV clothing. the interesting thing about the raffle was that a couple, Dave & Brony, won two of the prizes and the requirement of Dave to answer a question about MVs.

Julian (JSM) was mc and started the question by refering to Ago and the Isle on Man when Ago, with only a few corners to go and well in front of the second place rider, Mike Hailwood, broke the chain on his MV. The question asked, in order to win the prize, was 'how many links were in the chain on Ago's MV ?'

As you can imagiine, nobody had a clue so Julian then proceeded with his tale of Ago and the Isle of Man. Apparently, Ago was inconsolable after his lost to Mike and went back to his room to 'weep'. opening the door to no one.

Julians then asked Dave the question for the prize, 'What was Ago's room number? Was it 205, 237 or 312?'

Thanks must go to Tony & staff @ Moto One, Patrick from the Paul Feeney Group (Aust. distributors), Julian from Tahbilk Wines for supplying the wine and Peter (Velocemoto) for screening his dvds (which are well worth getting).

finally, some pics from the night.
