It seems there are more than a few MV riders in the NY/Metro-area. Aside from the obligatory remarks ("We must set up a ride", "See you at the Ear Inn on Tuesday", etc), I was wonder what the consensus is for the best place to get proper service for our machines?

It looks like there is a dealer out on Long Island, up in Danbury, CT, as well as Fast By Ferracci out near Philly (which is pretty far, relatively speaking). Is there a local/preferred I should know about?

I thought there was a dealer in lower manhattan, no? I dont know the name of the place but will be in Gold Coast this week and will ask about it. If you dont mind the ride to New Hyde park, the guys at gold coast are top notch, imho.

I looked it up here (the source) http://mvagustausa.com/web-mvagusta/Dealers/ny.html
And only see Gold Coast Motorsports out on Long Island. Granted, it is in New Hyde Park which is close to Queens, but not exactly a NYC dealer.

Matty - I guess you go to Cliff's in Danbury? What has your experience there been like?
they are awsome....my bike is currently with them now getting a full service done. I live about 70 miles away and they came and picked up the bike free of charge and will be droping it back off here when its done. I have only heard positive things about Cliffs

NY Ducati on Spring Street & Ave of Americas NYC sells and services MV's, but they always seemed to be backed up (leave your bike and we'll looked at it in 2 weeks) I can never wait that long so I use their x-service tech at his home shop.
Motofix in Norwalk, CT is gone but I think the service guy set up shop somewhere local.

For what it's worth, I called NY Ducati today to set up a 600 mile service. According to the service guy I spoke with, they no longer sell or service MVs.
