2 days ago, MV Agusta released the latest generation software for all "older" 3 cylinder models!
This is an all new, completely revamped software not just a slight tweak. It is the same level software that is used on the Rivale, with the same sophistication and accuracy!

It will transform your earlier 3 cylinder MV Agusta. I have uploaded the software on a number of models already, and all the issues are gone and resolved.

No more strange throttle right of idle, no cold running issues, perfect throttle response, etc.
This is it, folks. Your bike will run as good and better than any other brand motorcycle out there!

It is a free upload. If you already own a 3 cyl. MV Agusta, contact your dealer immediately and get it done!
If you do not own a 3 cylinder MV Agusta, you no longer have a reason not to!!

This software upgrade applies to F3 675, Brutale 675, Brutale 800, even the F3 800 gets a minor tweak.

Well this sounds interesting... Have you put an F3 675 on a dyno before and after?
No dyno runs. Power was never the issue anyway but driveability WAS! But no longer.

Hi, is it the so called MVICS 2.0? Does it include added or new functionalities like auto-blip or sth?
This is done without the new throttle return spring being needed?
That's what I want to know - is the stiffer throttle return spring part of this upgrade?
Do you have the upgrade number for the new mapping?
I want to make sure that my dealer has the correct map when I contact him!
Is the new throttle part of this upgrade or is it only the software?

Good news though. Looking forward to it!!
This free upgrade is software only. If you want the throttle grip with the stiffer spring you need to purchase this separately.

However, I just did a 80 mile ride today with on a Brutale 675 wit the new update but to old, original light spring throttle grip and it was absolutely phenomenal!! The fuelling and throttle response is so good now that the light spring really has become a non-issue.

I thought the Rivale was going to be my next bike, but today I had such a fabulous time on the Brutale 675 that I may just have to reconsider.
My bike was updated with this when I got it mid January. Fuelling is perfect.
Mary you dont have the latest software! The factory only just released it 4-5 days ago.

having ridden the Rivale all weekend and loving every minute of it , I am so glad to hear this new update is a all new working update . putting a smile on my customers faces will be nice .
Had juz upgraded yesterday. All i can say is OMG!!!!:):):) The throttle response is not lagging anymore. From the moment you start your bike and the first twist of the throttle after upgrading, you'll know your F3 is different. And i don't know am i listening wrong, my F3 sound different too. The exhaust sound more solid.

thanks, what number is the latest map?
I remember the dyno operator when he tuned mine saying it was either too rich or too lean down low. Cant remember which.

Lean would explain weak exhaust gas.

it is not just a remapping it is a new software update . 20.0.1 is the new version . and works great
This may sound silly but will this finally allow for proper wheelie control?

I've never moaned about my F3 fuelling but just accepted, like other ride by wires I've sampled, that having RBW pretty much rules out balance point wheelies because you just don't get the instant incremental + or - power response at the rear wheel when you ask for it i.e on the F3 the lag from a slight rolling off or on of the throttle makes it too hard to manage the angle of the bike. :f4:

Either way this sounds like good news.
My dealer has perviously said that software updates are chargeable. Will this be a free update from the factory? if so, is there any evidence of it being free? Excited about this update. Need more people to report about what its like. :D

Say what, chargeable? :wtf:
The MV web site used to list the latest map and specifically stated that updates would be released as required making it seem as if it was a lifetime thing.
I have a letter from MV signed by Giovanni himself stating that updates are FREE and giving the then latest upgrade date.
I believe someone posted this information before but I’m having problems finding it.
The software updates are 100% free of charge. If you're dealer is trying to charge you, you need to contact you're importer or MV directly so they can take care of the dealers problem.
