'Outdated' is merely a state of mind. For me, I wouldn't knock back a model because she's wearing last year's clothes (bike or woman:wink2. The reality is that we should buy what WE want and not be influenced by what someone else's opinion might be of our 'older' bike. In the long run, after 3 or 4 years, only the true enthusiasts are able to discern model differences, and we are the ones who respect choices, not criticise them.
As stated by @esq'z me : go buy your bike!
And the bike that makes you look back at it after the test ride is the one you should buy.
