Hey guys – I’ve recently picked up a 2010 F4 and am new to the MVs. I’ve always had Ducati, but earlier this year had a mishap at the track and found myself in need of a replacement. I didn’t want to jump right back into another Duc with the new model coming out, and having always wanted an F4, decided now would be a good time to snag one. Now that I’ve finally got one, I’m wondering why I didn’t pick one up sooner; I absolutely love the thing.

Like I said, being new to the MVs, I’m not familiar with some of the common upgrades or modification for track applications made to these bikes to make them even better than how they come from the factory. With the Ducs you have things like triples, shocks, links, etc. I know there has been quite a change from years past to the 10’ model, and I’ve been poking around on here looking at different things (probably a good thing; else my sag would be all screwed up), but what are some of the more common items?

Thanks!

Congrats and welcome
Where do you live? If in the USA then get ready, cause everything has gone up in price (exhaust, ECU, wheels, ect..). As for track mods, I can't help you but I think the bike is still too new so the aftermarket support is thin. Rear sets are a must and the gas tank doesn't like ethonal. Post up some pics of your new ride tho.

Yes, I am in the US; Ohio actually (another interesting issue as I don't even have an MV dealer in Ohio) and I did see where the price of things have recently taken a sharp incline.

Here are some quick not so high quality cell phone shots I've snapped since having the bike. Haven't had a chance to take any decent pictures yet. The last one is probably more a picture of its matching garage mate, but figured I'd leave it since there are probably a few car enthusiasts here as well.

Thanks, guys!

Ya, I couldn't stand that wretched hunk of plastic messing up such a perfect back end. I ended up tearing everything off and relocating the turn signals in the rear vents. Looks great now!

Hi everybody :)
I'm also new to this forum and coincidentally I just traded my old Yamaha R1 into a new 2010 MV Agusta F4 RED/SIVER.
I've owned 10 Japanese bikes but this is my first Italian cycle and I'm thrilled about it.
I'll post some pics soon.
Cheers :)
Lou
