Been waiting months for this thing to go back in stock. 2.932lbs (1330gr) for a large is insane. Especially for the price. $427 to my door from speed addicts. I’m a weight snob when it comes to helmets.

only issue with suomy is finding it in stock. I’ve been a huge suomy fan since I want to say 2007.
Yep, struggling to find a UK dealer with any of the model and colour I would like. Their distribution network does not seem as mature as other larger brands.

I think it’s a supply and demand issue. Their helmets are an excellent value and sell out very quickly. They are a smaller company even though they are much more established now than they were in 2007 when I got my first helmet from them. Keep checking back. Speedaddicts, the company I ordered from just got brand new stock last week. They had been out for months. I’m sure others will get stock soon also.

what size and color are you looking for? I’ll keep an eye out.
If anyone here is ok with rocking this graphics, this price can’t be beat! They have a few different color combos on clearance. Search tx-pro on the website.

MotoD has them too
thanks, Im usually a Medium, but in Suomy sizing a 56 is a small, so I would like to try one on...which is the issue. So far Ive not found a UK stockist with TX-Pro stock. When I find any TX-pro in UK stock nearby I will try it on to find my size and then would be confident to order from mainland Europe.

They look great VFM and I like the style/features. Its one of the new 2023 colour schems I like, so perhaps will be a while to arrive in UK, even ebay only lists it from a USA seller

Let me make this real simple for you so you don’t have to wait to try it on in person. Suomy runs 100% true to size. Don’t go by medium or large or what you were in a different helmet. Use the suomy sizing guide for the tx-pro and measure your head right above your eyebrows. Go based off that number and see what size it falls on. Get that size!

What about head shape?
What about head shape?
Great question. My wife has an extremely oval head while I have a very round head. She fits shoei while I could never fit a single shoei. We both perfectly fit suomy though. Suomy seems to have nailed down head shape so it accommodates both extremes of head shapes and everything in between.

Looks like a great helmet. Unfortunately there are no dealers for Suomy here in isolated Western Australia, so nowhere I can try it for fit. I have learnt through years of trial and error that only Arai helmets fit my round head. Shoei, Shark and AGV are all a no go for me.
So I'm stuck with Arai and their barbaric visor change mechanism. Side pods that pop off - seriously, in 2023?!

I too have a round head. I too don’t fit all the brands you mentioned. I fit a suomy and arai only. I think this helmet would fit you great. You have the same exact fitment issues I have always had.

Motivations and theories

One modern theory is cranial deformation was likely performed to signify group affiliation, or to demonstrate social status. Such motivations may have played a key role in MV Agusta moto society, aimed at creating a skull shape that is aesthetically more pleasing or associated with desirable cultural attributes. For example, in the Twisty roads found in various countries a person with an elongated head is thought to be more intelligent, of higher status, and closer to the world of the spirits. While those in arid places chose a narrow, almost flat shape best suited for land-speed records. Covering these esteemed heads of oil and rubber were prized carbon fiber, a specialized early fabric denoting wealth and stature.

I'm hesitant to buy before I try - I need to feel the fit before I drop my $$$. If it doesn't fit properly it becomes an expensive garage ornament....

I feel ya man. I wanted a AGV sportsmodular carbon helmet for the longest time. Knowing the fitment issue I hesitated. One day I got to try it on and it was no different than any other Agv helmet I tried on. Didn’t got right. Hope you’re able to get your hands on a suomy. Something tells me you will love it as much as I do.

It looks great. If it fits I'll buy it in a heartbeat.
