I'm sure this also has to do with how strong the Aus dollar has been lately (with no signs of dropping).

Excellent prices indeed, especially considering the email quotes including onroads and delivery.

That's a saving of around or even over $5,000 in each instance.

I paid 27,900+ on roads more than a month ago for a 910r i haven't recieved yet and apparently now wont for another month (through the Paul Feeney Group Perth)
Nice to know iv'e already dropped a grand and haven't even seen the bloody thing yet...that's sposed to happen when i roll out of the dealership , not while the bikes in transit from dealer to dealer:violin:
Hey , what are your thoughts on my chances of getting a refund for the difference?

I'm hearing ya!
I just paid $37,000 on the road for the 312 and I'm picking it up next Monday. I could've got it months ago but had to wait for a licensing issue to be sorted. Things like this are there to test us.
As far as your concerned seaeagle, all you can do is contact the PFG and talk to someone about your situation. You may not get your money back, but they may sort out with some mv gear or store credit.
It's worth a try,you'll never know if you don't have a crack!!

Hey guys here is a heads up.
PeterPolly from this site is selling his 312R with 2.500kms for $29k.

Anyone want to buy my 1000S so I can get this? I have RG3's PC111, rear sets, rad guard, race fairings, underfairing crash knobs, etc etc but would love a 312.

First in gets it!

Interesting trend this,

MV Australia has now dropped the price of the 1000S twice. From memory these were originally around $32 - 33K + ORC, they were dropped $3000 to around $29 - 30K + ORC when the 1000R was released (the 1000R now costing 32 - 33K +ORC).

Now a 1000S costs 26 - 27K + ORC and the 1000R costs 29 - 30K + ORC.

It's interesting that the importer has taken advantage of the stronger Aussie dollar and passed the savings onto the customer (rather than his pocket). The only disadvantage of this is all of us that already own one have also just taken a $3000 hit on our resale values.

However anyone contemplating buying one please note a couple of points:

This year only the 312 has been regularly advertised at full RRP, these revised prices actually reflect the "street" price of the R and S model bikes all year.

Also, in the case of the S the youngest one I have seen was built in 1996 and the youngest R I've sighted was built in 1997 (i.e. there are a number of left-over models around).

So if you are looking for a geniunely new bike, check the build date (not the ADR plate). Buying a year old bike new isn't a real problem however when you go to sell it, the buyer will only be interested in the build date not the first registered date.

Andrew...

I sent an email to Paul Feeney Group to get clarification on their pricing announcement. I wasn't clear on whether ORCs were included or not.

This was the response:

Dear Rob,

Thank you for your interest in our products and the F4 R 312. The new price includes GST. Plus dealer delivery and ORC.
Dealer delivery and ORC are not included in the RRP.

But with the new price you will save $3490.00 on the bike only plus your savings on the ORC.

New Old Save
F4 1000 R 312 $31,300.00 $34,790.00 $3490.00
F4 1000 R 312 1+1 $31,500.00 $34,990.00 $3490.00

I guess this is a offer you can’t refuse.

If you have further enquiries, do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

Obviously, not clearly explained, but I think I'm safe in saying that dealer charges and on road costs are NOT included. Regardless, I'm glad I've been procrastinating buying - the 312 is looking much more attractive now!

Agree there.....

I'd love to buy a 312 or the new 1078.....
Only problem for me is I have a F4 1000s to trade in. I'll be lucky to get $22-23K trade in for it now......

Although, the other plan is to make the F4 s into a track bike....:yo::yo::yo::yo::naughty::naughty::naughty:

Local MV dealer in Adelaide told me that MV will probably tag the 1078RR
around $35,000.... But it's always a mystery until they release the price tag.

New F4 here it comes?
Well, I guess Claudio Castiglioni was right. Because he said to the MV
importer in HK that HK will be the first place to have the 1078RR and
Brutale 1078RR in Asia.

I don't know if Australia is classified as Asia or not but at least we are ahead
of Australia. Not that it matters but I'm just stating that Claudio is right atm.
